These sourdough dinner rolls are so easy to make and you don't need a mixer! Feed your starter the night before, then make + bake the next day
Knead together flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt, starter, milk and water. Knead in cubes of room tempertaure butter
Let the dough ferment for 3 hours, stretching and folding 3 times. Then shape into 12 dough balls
Let the dough balls rise until doubled in size. Brush the rolls with egg wash.
Bake until puffed and deep golden brown. Brush the still warm buns with plenty of melted butter.
Let the buns cool a little bit before serving. The dinner rolls can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
